Applications
Unilift High-Performance Deep-Sea Slings
Unilift have designed and developed specialised synthetic slings for heavy lift in the offshore industry and subsea applications. These slings are engineered to suit each customers’s Critical Lift Plan. Unilift slings come with extra protection in the eye and are designed to suit hooks and shackles where small bend radius is an issue. All slings can be approved and tested as per DNV requirements. Slings up to a minimum breaking load (MBL) of 4300 metric tonnes are available with a comprehensive certification package including description, calculations, drawings and all certificates.
Applications
Unilift Deepsea Adjustable Slings

Some lifts can more complicated than others, especially when the lifted object is very delicate. The lifting & lowering of jumper oil well connections is a good example of this type of lift. Multiple slings are attached to a number of lifting points and the sling lengths all need to be optimised to avoid straining or twisting the jumper. Making small adjustments during setup to this style of lift when using steel slings, chains & shackles can be a very time consuming process, ranging from hours to days. But there is an alternative.
Unilift adjustable slings are pre-spliced synthetic rope slings that are soft, light and easy to work with. While manufactured to the optimal calculated length for the required lift, if minor adjustments in sling length are required to maintain optimal tension, the length of the sling can be shortened or lengthened in only a few minutes, with no tools required. These slings can be supplied with either soft-eyes and a protective sleeve, or steel thimbles, depending upon project specifications.
Applications
DNV Certified Offshore Sling Assemblies

The offshore environment can throw up some of the most dangerous and damaging lifting conditions on earth. Extreme sub-zero temperatures, salt water, heavy seas and high wind not only impact directly on the lifting conditions, but also greatly increase the wear & tear on the equipment.
Into the fray comes Unilift’s DNV certified offshore sling assemblies. Designed specifically for offshore container usage and available in 4 or 5 leg variations (without forerunners), our offshore sling assemblies utilise the highest quality steel rope, and are supplied with premium quality fittings from suppliers such as Gunnebo, Yoke, or GreenPin. Whatever Mother Nature can throw up – we can tackle head on!
Applications
Polyester Round Slings

Unilift round slings are manufactured from 100% polyester and are most commonly used in the lifting industry for light to medium lifts. Our slings range from 10 tonne to 150 tonne in capacity and are manufactured with a heavy duty cover to ensure longer life and excellent protection of the load bearing yarn. Slings in this range are all available at relatively short notice.
